SCMTS was born from a simple but powerful idea: that an Aboriginal-owned business could deliver world-class tree and land management services while creating real, lasting opportunities for Indigenous people across Sydney and NSW.

We saw a gap in the market — too many contractors delivering vegetation and arborist services without genuine connection to the communities they worked in. We believed a business rooted in Aboriginal values of respect for Country, community care and collective success could do things differently. And we were right.

Connection to Country is at the heart of everything we do. Every tree we assess, every site we clear, every property we maintain — we approach it with respect for the land, its history and its Traditional Custodians. This is not just good business; it is who we are.

Our commitment to community extends far past the job site. We actively create employment pathways for Aboriginal workers, support Indigenous subcontractors and reinvest in the regions we serve. Every contract we win is a chance to grow Indigenous participation in the trades.
