We provide an obligation free quoting service between the hours of 7am-4pm Monday – Friday. The initial consultation is for 15 minutes. After this time we will charge $50 per half hour. If you require a second visit after the initial quote you will be charged $50. Quotes are emailed within 2 business days and are valid for 3 months.

The client must provide clear access before the job commences. This includes moving garden furniture, ornaments, movable plants, fence panels etc. We do not replace fence panels or posts that have been moved as we are not qualified fencers. SCMTS will not take any responsibility for damage to movable objects on site.
All stump grinding debris will be left on site unless otherwise stated on the quote. This may include small chunks of timber but mainly sawdust that can be spread over the garden but will not be cleaned up or spread by SCMTS. All care but no responsibility will be taken for damage to water pipes or services that have not been discussed or identified before commencement of work.
If the client is not happy with the condition of the site, we are happy to discuss over the phone and try to resolve the situation. If the job has not been completed as per the quote we will endeavour to have it completed as a priority. Scratches and dents are a small part of what happens in our line of work. We will try to avoid these as much as possible however we are only human and small damages sometimes occur. We are fully insured if there is damage to property due to our mistake. However, if the damage could have been avoided through clear site access provided by the client we will not take responsibility.
An invoice will be emailed once the job is completed. Payment must be made within 7 days of the invoice date or a late payment fee of $10 per week will be incurred. We accept Cash, Cheque and Credit Cards (Master or Visa accepted however a fee of 2.2% will be charged). If payment is not received within 30 days (unless previously arranged) where work is required by a builder or developer, a Caveat will be placed on the project until all outstanding invoices are paid.
If you wish to cancel or postpone a job please call us at least 48 hours before the commencement date. Any cancellations within 48 hours will incur a cost of 30% and within 24 hours will incur a 50% cost of the total job value.
